Swim Lessons are offered at Olson Beach.  There are Preschool & Parent classes age 3 to 5, and 4 levels of Swim Lessons age 5 to 10.  Swim lesson levels are Beginner, Advanced Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced.  Morning classes are offered from 9:30am to 10:15am for the Early Morning Section, and 10:30am to 11:15 for the Late Morning Section.  June Session of lessons are from Monday 18 June thru Thursday 28 June 2012, the July Session of lessons are from Monday 9 July thru Thursday 19 July 2012, and the August Session are from Monday 30 July thru Thursday 10 August 2012.  Fridays are reserved for makeup lessons.  Cost of lesson is $50 per session including a $20 nonrefundable deposit, and deadline for enrollment is two weeks before lessons start (June Session is Sunday 3 June 2012, July Session is Sunday 24 June 2012, and August Session is Sunday 15 July 2012).  Balance of fee is due the first day of lessons.   Lesson program is provided by Jeff Ellis Swimming, an internationally recognized method of swim instruction.  Classes are a minimum of 3 and maximum of 6 students with one instructor.  Registration blitz is being held at Olson Beach on Memorial Day Weekend (26-28 May 2012).   Call Program Coordinator at 815-978-1261 or email lindaf@beachwatch.net for more information.

Junior Lifeguard Classes are offered at Olson Beach or Standfield Beach.  JR Lifeguard is open to students ages 11 thru 14.  Classes are offered in the mornings from 9:30am to 11:30am with the June Session from Monday 18 June thru Thursday 28 June 2012, the July Session from Monday 9 July thru Thursday 19 July 2012, and the August Session from Monday 30 July thru Thursday 10 August 2012.  Fridays are reserved for makeup lessons.  Call Lead Instructor at 815-978-3752 or email erind@beachwatch.net for more information.
