Olson Beach is a 250 yard long swimming beach located in Rock Cut State Park.  Built in 1988, it is the 20th anniversary for the facility in 2008.

         Admission is $1.00

Olson Beach is unaffected by the 2008 Midwest flooding, we are most certainly still open!

Olson Beach is open noon to 7pm daily from Memorial Day Weekend to Labor Day for the summer swim season. 

Olson Beach only closes if water or air temperatures are under 68 degrees or thunder and lightening are present.  Check the Weather

Open swim includes 3 marked swim areas (200 feet by 75 feet each, zero to 4 feet deep), marked triathlete lap swim course (200 meters), sand volleyball courts, boat rentals, concessions, changing rooms and outdoor sand shower.  For safety, the beach is staffed by lifeguards, and lifejackets are provided for children under 48 inches tall.
